On June 29, the 39.3 MW Tongliao poverty alleviation photovoltaic power plant project of Inner Mongolia Aerospace Electromechanical was successfully connected to the grid and reached a price of 0.75 yuan/kWh.

The project is Aerospace Electromechanical’s first grid-connected photovoltaic power generation power plant in the Mengdong area. The project is located in Hailutu Town, Kezuoqi Banner, Tongliao City. It covers an area of approximately 1400 mu. The average annual power generation during the operation period is 52.295 million kWh.

The project was approved by the Tongliao Development and Reform Commission in December 2017 and construction began on April 17, 2018. On May 21, 2018, the project obtained approval comments on access to the power system. After 72 days of fighting, the project team successfully completed the 630th grid-connected mission.

This is a key poverty alleviation project of the Kozuoqi Banner Government, involving 1,572 poor households. The successful integration of the project means that each of these poor households will receive an annual increase of 3,000 yuan, which is of great importance to people affected by poverty. The company will continue to respond and support the country’s precise poverty alleviation policy and earnestly fulfill its social responsibilities.
